Rose and Beth at a recent Maker's Fair in Brighton
Our Story
Designed & made in small editions in Brighton
Inspired by Nature and History
Inspired by nature and history, made by hand.
Rose Honey jewellery explores the beauty of the natural world and its deep connections with humanity and ancient making techniques.
Beth’s designs often begin with objects collected on walks and journeys. Casting these forms in recycled silver captures their intricate patterns, textures and organic shapes — from sycamore leaves gathered on country walks for the Protection Collection, to prehistoric arrowheads that inspired the Arrowhead Collection, following a memorable journey through the Sahara Desert in Morocco.
Beth is passionate about preserving specialist craft traditions such as Lost Wax casting and gold leaf gilding, while continually learning new techniques. Wherever possible, she sources materials and services locally in her home city of Brighton.
Collections Rooted in Story
Beth grew up in Lewes, surrounded by willow — her mother was a basket maker. The rhythm of planting, growing and harvesting shaped her childhood; willow was even softened in the family bath. This early influence lives on in the Willow Collection, where each piece is hand-cast from willow gathered in spring. The designs are guided by the material’s natural twists, turns and grain, resulting in elegant hoop earrings, rings and twisted bracelets. Stud earrings are cut at an angle, echoing the way a basket maker trims their willow.
The much-loved Tiny Shell Collection features five different shells cast in recycled silver, available as stud earrings, hoops and necklaces. More recently, Beth has introduced sea glass, celebrating its soft shapes, smooth textures and luminous colours, collected over many years.
